social policy, family, work and well-being
I am a social scientist, working at the intersection of social policy, political science, sociology and economics. I am particularly interested in family policy, comparative studies of care regimes, capability approach, fertility-employment nexus, work-life balance and gender inequalities. My research experience covers also topics like: social indicators, (inter)national solidarity, poverty and political participation.
I graduated from Warsaw School of Economics (MA in economics) and University of Warsaw (MA in political sciences). I hold a PhD degree and habilitation in social policy. I am currently working as an Associate Professor in the Department of Policy Research Methodology at the Faculty of Political Sciences and International Relations at the University of Warsaw (WNPiSM). I am also Vice-head of the Interdisciplinary Centre for Labour Market and Family Dynamics (LabFam), headed by Prof. Anna Matysiak.
