I am a social scientist, working at the intersection of social policy, economics, political science and sociology. I am particularly interested in family policy, comparative studies of care regimes, capability approach, fertility-employment nexus, work-life balance and gender issues. My expertise covers also topics like: social indicators, (inter)national solidarity, poverty, inequalities and political participation.
I graduated from Warsaw School of Economics (MA in economics) and University of Warsaw (MA in political sciences). I hold a PhD degree and habilitation in social policy. I am currently working as an Associate Professor at the Department of Methodology of Political Science at the University of Warsaw (WNPISM), Poland. I am also the Vice-head of the Interdisciplinary Centre for Labour Market and Family Dynamics (LABFAM)
